Verizon Wireless announced a new concept today – plans that allow up to 10 devices to share services from a common subscription. We believe this among the first responses to “bundle busting” where customers acquire services from many providers, even though they could acquire all of them through one bundle.

Amdocs’ Ann Hatchell says in this blog post that we’ll see more variants from more operators soon, because “shared plans are high on service providers’ list of planned services” and because “there are many flavors of these plans being examined.”

With subscriptions still tied to street addresses or devices, the individual is lost…Now the industry is starting to get it. This video addresses the problem and the big picture on multi-device subscriptions.
